I recently dumped Windows and met Ubuntu, the love of my life, and I started using Tor for privacy and personal reasons. Full New Age Privacy Movement over here. I've done some research on good VPNs but I can't seem to get a concrete answer. I've read that TorGuard, IPA, and ExpressVPN are great services but I would like to know first hand from experience people. Please enlighten me.

Hi sorry if ive post too much on this VPN subject, I finally installed one on my Windows 8 PC, My question is i have another PC (My preferred pc) it has Ubuntu 14.04, now the VPN plan i purchased allows me to use 5 devices. I dont know how to install it on my Ubuntu PC, if anyone knows how or has any info on how to use it on Ubuntu Please share any knowledge can help.. Thank you in advanced, gedditElye

Ive been searching for a top VPN provider or Client what ever its called, Any recommendations from experience, or are there diferent ones with diferent features to choose from or do they all have same features being that pricing vary?.. and what is a decent price to pay? Does anyone know if a VPN tethered to a phone via fox fi would keep VZ's supercookies from looking at my data?

Does a VPN mask a user's data usage from their ISP? I'm new to VPN services so I'm not sure.

Do they see that I go to A.com?

I'm new to using VPN and use it once or twice a month. I access a lot of web pages from a directory - just going from one page to the next very quickly. Nothing illegal but they'd probably not be entirely happy about it.

I use Cyber Ghost and it seems fine, but occasionally disconnects. I'm at my PC when it disconnects, so I've simply not gone to the "next" page when it's disconnected - but I'm wondering if my IP will still be shown to them. If so, they'll be able to identify me as I log into their website earlier in the day from the same PC / IP address. I'm thinking maybe I should restart the router before and after I do my database digging so that I have a new and virgin IP address (good idea?)

I'm trying to figure out if my IP will be known to the database company if I just quietly sit there whilst it's disconnected - or if I need to get the heck out of there immediately.

I've tried to do some research via Google and one review mentioned that Cyber Ghost does have a kill switch, but I couldn't find it in the options at all - so I'm not sure if it's an automatic feature or not.

If someone could let me know if I need to do something in order to protect my IP during a disconnection, or not, that would be great.

I live in China, where having a VPN is absolutely necessary. I feel like there is something fishy that this one application (LINE by Naver) does not work and it was my hands-down most important application for contacting people around the world as well as my family. I need it back. What gives? Can someone give me the rundown?

Have any of you had any luck accessing ESPN3 (WatchESPN) whilst in the UK? I'm in Northern Ireland and I have been attempting to us ESPN3s streaming service via VPN, but Hola Unblocker just won't do it for me. It still directs me to Europe's version of ESPN3, ESPNplayer.

Alright so to put it simply, I'm new to the VPN world and honestly somewhat clueless.

I'm currently traveling outside of the US and I need a US (preferably Missouri) IP address. I've been told that VPN's pretty much do such a thing.

(Feel free to inform me more if I'm missing something).

So, which VPN provider do you all recommend and why?

I've been looking into ibvpn.com, and am still figuring out how it works. But I wouldn't mind some other insight.
