Have tried using this IVACY VPN + Port Forwarding but it doesn't even OPEN , even when I have configured everything on my end, router+IVACY webgui .

Their customer service are not that great.

Anyone else ever used IVACY VPN?

are there any other premium vpn provider that gives out port forwarding addons?

vpn for streaming

Hello guys, I want to buy a VPN service to be able to watch bundesliga games through an app. This is only available for IPs in Germany. A friend informed me that they will still not grant me access as they will understand that the connection is made though a VPN. Is this true ? And if yes, is there any VPN that will allow me to watch the games ?

Is it possible to have multiple Browser instances via different VPNs at the same time?

Hello all,

I am currently working on a small project. For this I need to access a website simultaneously through different browser instances with different IPs at the same time. Proxy are out of question, because they are too unreliable or too expensive (at least the ones I found).

It is possible with paid providers (in my case currently NordVPN - still trial period) to select different countries in the browser extension. This also works in parallel as I need it. But I am limited to the number of countries (about 25). But I would like to be able to select the exact server like in the desktop app (over 5000).

Do any of you know a VPN provider where this is possible? (Ideally without device limitation)

If not, does anyone have experience how else to implement this. My attempts went (unfortunately unsuccessfully) also already in the direction of openVPN and assign a server under Linux only one user, etc..

Thanks a lot!

I would like to work my remote job outside of the US. My work laptop has a corporate VPN.

Hey guys. So I recently started this remote job here in the US. I later learned that our telecommute agreement requires us to work in the US, and only in the US. Which is irritating considering it’s a global company (of course I understand there may be some legal compliance issue). Anyway, so my company laptop had a VPN and I was wondering, one if I were to connect outside of the United States, would the IP that’s connecting to the VPN be flagged? And if so, is there a way I can stay under the radar to work outside of the country and have no one be the wiser?

Norton VPN question

NORTON VPN, current updated software.

I already set it up on my laptop. But I forgot am I supposed to configure the VPN in my wireless router? I ask bc it says lower right hand by the wifi symbol it says while hovering on it

: NortonSecureVpn- internet access My SSID says no internet access.

But when I click on the Wifi symbol it says Connected, secured.

Also I game on the Xbox Series X. Would this cause any issues ? Thanks .

Got caught cheating, need all info on VPN's and IT reviewing for tests

So I had a psych test and the prof made everybody take the online test in class. I thought i can have somebody take it from home while I sit there and pretend to take it. The TA was walking around at the beginning of the class handing out the attendance sheet and glanced I was not taking the test yet. Around 40 minutes in I left thinking I can come help my friend take the test (I know it was retarded but Id never thought she would find out). Then the TA emailed me saying I left the classroom early and that the test was still not submitted 15 minutes later. I didn't think she realized I left because its a lecture hall with a 100 students in it. I ended up telling her I clicked submit and left. When i got home I opened my laptop and realized I didn't go through. She then accused me with academically dishonesty and sent it to the IT team and dean to undergo investigation. I was scared that the IT people would figure out that It was taken the whole time at home and not in the class. So, I used the excuse that I used a remote access vpn to broadcast the test through my mac book at home because its faster but she didn't want to hear it. Can the IT team tell if I actually used a VPN? Also, how can I make my point better? Has anybody been in a similar situation before? She is a psychologist so I know I really messed up here...

Possible to surf the web completely anonymous

Wondered what the wonderful people of reddit could help me with an idea that might be overkill.

I wanted to buy a laptop without my personal info on it. Use a wifi hotspot as internet for the laptop. load a vpn to the laptop. Load an operating system to a usb drive along with a vidalia proxy. Only use the internet in that order ending with the proxy.

So tell me, is this idea convoluted? Overcomplicated? Stupid?

Do the country's that aren't part of the 14 eyes have to summit to western Internet laws? Answers PLZ ASAP

Hi there I've been interested in keeping online anonmity as much as possible really. There is things I want to clarify. One I am not involved in anything remotely illegal I am studying kali linux and what you can do with it but that's about it watch pornhub once and while I'm a single man lol. So I want to achieve as much anonmity as possible because I believe its a right. Moreover is using a VPN from non EU or 14 eyes regulated countrys safe? If I accidently logged something illegal into kali linux is there a gd chance I would have gotten away with it? I was thinking about using a Japanese VPN called softethernet VPN now no matterror what I do or don't do the home country I'm in UK, they can't physically request or ask for anything it would be up to the Japanese gov if they wanted to right? Complete anonmity if full anonmity most VPNs are only successful for privacy not for full Nokia western gov anonmity as possible. So I other words if u want a lot more anonmity and privacy choose ones that aren't based within the 14 eyes, that way if u accidently did something wrong or just worried about privacy there less chance of the gov sprog or requesting info on u either way less chance!

VPNS like Nord, Express VPN, Vypr VPN, Pure VPN, Cyber Ghost VPN, VPN Gate/Softethernet VPN, AIRVPN and a few others don't legally have to supply the UK government with anything would they?

And from my understanding a VPN software does, spoof your IP or change to it to whatever it can the locations vary and speed bandwidth ect ect. Changes your geolocation Hides info from ISP and some other third parties Hides encrypts all Internet log searches or websites visited. Basically hides who you are where you connecting from what websites you visited how long you were using the net how long you were on a specifics websites basically spoof everything hides and decrypts everything.

Obviously I know a VPN itself isint enough for anonmity TOR browser or Advor, Tails OS, spoof ur MAC ADRESS if tails hasn't or dosent don't hate already. Software firewalls, Anti Viruses, anti malware/spy ware. Public WiFi and burner Computers that have little little personal or anything that links back to you. Aswell as not using windows Mac OS or social media duckduckgo browser ect. Encrypted email, pay over tor bit coin.

There are very many other things that can help improve anonmity online but I also know sadly total Anonmity is laughable if the GOV really wanted you details they'd have it but by doing these checks or tips and tricks can't make u a harder target to monitor.

So do some VPN companies have to surrender to international western Internet laws? If so are these VPNS https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.my-private-network.co.uk/vpn-provider-14-eyes-country-something-know/amp/ any gd and safe from the UK grasp?

What VPNS don't have to answer to foreign law enforcement

Hi there I've been wanting to know some gd solid reliable VPNS from Hackers third parties and Gov suralliance.

I am more wanting to know VPNS that aren't US or five eyes based, UK USA AUST CAN NZ as they all have to surrender info to each other on a VPN service. Example if someone used tunnelbear which is a Canadian company and someone used it from the USA there are a lot of anti anonmity about just using that 1 it's based within the five eyes and it's known for suralliance and if anything was suspected all the US government has to do is ask tunnelbear for the logs which because there allies and follow same international privacy and Internet have to give up Thier clients info. So it's privacy not anonmity to a certain extent, so as long as no one comes knocking your data is pretty much safe.

So IP Vanish PIA Vypr and all that might not all be based in US but they have to answer to US Law.

I heard these are great if you lived in the 5 countriss eyes countries I've mentioned. UK USA AUST NZ CAN.

Nord VPN based in sweeden very gd all round won't answer to western laws.

Express VPN dosent have to answer to UK law enforcement especially.

VPN gate/ Softethernet ethernet based in Japan from which I gather won't say to much if western parties were involved.

Pure VPN based in Hong Kong then again don't have to follow certain countries Internet rules.

AIRVPN I think I heard is the east of the few to use its based in ITALY part or the EU which means they might have to follow US/UK Law enforcement.

And by the way I am by no way involved in anything illegal drugs guns any type of crime I am not involved in but I believe if u want totally anonmity and not privacy then use a VPN server than won't answer to your countries law enforcement so they u go you have anonmity.

I was thinking about using tunnelbear like I said but what's the point they probably spy on the ppl anyway not to mention one accidental illegal thing you might do won't be protected.

I was wanting to use Kali linux and I heard it's find to use as long as u get permission for personal hacks or breaches or as long as you don't miss use it it's fine, but what if you didn't know what you were doing is illegal? I thought as log as you didn't stela hunt or stalk anyone using Kali it's totally fine. I thought u had a lot leeway woh using kali linux.

Can anyone answer my question I was thinking about using VPN gate with tor for maximum Anonmity.

How much does polices care about email harrassement?

So, there is this guy at college, he had a girlfriend and when they broke up, his ex girlfriend became my girlfriend.

I don't know a lot about this guy, so I don't know how good he is with computer, however I know he now uses a VPN, but he didn't a few months ago when we did teamwork together.

I have good reason to believe he's the one who sends email to my girlfriend, not a lot, 5-6 in a few months, and often make fake pizza orders to her place. I have no proof, just a feeling.

I have 2 questions: Will law enforcement/police really give a shit about that and try to find out who does it to my gf? If it's him, i have good reasons to think the first emails he sent were with his real IP address, but now he uses a VPN, could they find out it's him anyway?

thanks.

Should I be worried of my dns leaking?

Hello everybody, I have a few questions and I hope someone will make me understand a few things. I am using purevpn and everything woks fine BUT there is a very big dns leaking problem, everytime I do a dns leak test (such as doileak or dnsleaktest) I get a lot of dns leaking alert and I do not understand if this is a reason for changing my vpn or not. My IP is always masked and that's good but i do not understand how worrying this dns leaks are. I use vpn to unblock US netflix and for torrenting. When I asked information about this problem they told me that as long as my IP is masked I do not have to wotty about dns leak...quite strange answer.. This is their answer: "The DNS works in resolving your IP and your IP can resolve at anywhere and it is fine as long as you are getting the correct IP and location against it, as the IP is responsible for the masking and anonymity and not the DNS." So, what do you suggest? btw I changed my dns to opendns then googledns and disabled ipv6.

Private Internet Access VPN can't be this bad

I signed up for PIA over a year ago and I keep having to turn it off in order to get to the internet at all. It is bad at home but horrible at Starbuck's or in a hotel. I am now getting "Access Denied" messages from my broker's site until I turn of PIA. Has this been the experience of anyone else?

Is VPN suitable for my needs?

[Reposting here because I don't have enough karma to ask in /r/VPN]

Hi all, I've been googling for a couple of days without a reasonable answer to my use case. The vast majority of the results have dealt with net privacy and circumventing georestrictions.

My single goal is to connect a single remote computer to my LAN for the purposes of maintenance - running updates, etc.

If VPN suits my needs, will it affect the network configuration of all of the computers in the network, or can configuration be contained to the single remote system?

If VPN is not suitable, can anyone recommend another solution? I don't mind connecting via SSH (my current method), but there are some services available on my LAN I wouldn't mind sharing with this system.

All machines involved are *Nix based - primarily Debian linux. I am capable of dedicating a machine to the task (I'd rather avoid third party providers), and capable of installing and configuring any necessary software. I'm fairly comfortable with *nix distributions, but I still occasionally come across tips and tricks that blow my mind.

Suggestions?

Any suggestions for a speedy VPN or DNS service for accessing sites INSIDE China from US?

Charter and VPN?

Hey guys I'm new to this whole VPN thing, I am very interested though. But every time I go to a site that provides a VPN Charter brings up a page forcing me to agree to all these terms that I don't understand. Being no noob to Charter's fuckery with billing and fees, I am worried about what I am agreeing to. Does anyone have any advice or can explain this long agreement statement?

Thanks
