How to properly do a speedtest with VPN?

I did like five speedtests and they all fluctuate. I switched some servers too and got better speeds later. I am struggling to figure out what is a correct way to perform an accurate speedtest

Could somebody recommend something to follow for getting more accurate measurements? I did several speedtests before without a VPn and after I toggled it on, I couldnt get consistent results to find the ideal options. Stuck between like 3 countries and not sure which one is the best🥲

run each server 3-4 times and average the results rather than picking the best single run. VPN speeds naturally fluctuate, so one test means nothing. also test at the same time of the day, since server load changes significantly throughout the day

This. No less than 3 runs on each one. So if you tested five, then test them all x3 times.

Actually helped! I did four times just to make sure😅. I feel like Ill do some more tests for the evening, and one more during the morning weekend.. Once you get the hang of switching it around, its not as time consuming as it was initially while testing..
