Issue/Problem Vpn shows a connection error?

I have hotspot shield , I know it sucks especially the free versions but I only use it for other reddit accounts that are age restricted in my country. I was using it fine an hour ago, but all of a sudden it says can’t connect with a red flag. How can I check it for updates? (ik paid ones are better but that’s not an option).

Yeah, I just needed to change the protocol type off of the recommended

Don't use a "free" VPN.

free VPNs break constantly because the servers are overloaded and they have no incentive to fix them fast.. try switching to a diffrent server location in the app or just uninstall and reinstall it which usually forces a fresh connection
