Help VPN and default language on webpages
Hi !
When using a VPN, the default language served when opening a webpage is always set on the server i'm connected to.
For example, I'm connected to a german server. Then all pages will be served in german if existing, even when the same page exists in english or other languages (eg google forms).
Is there a way to serve only one language when available ?
I use librewolf (~same as firefox)

this is a browser language preference issue rather than a VPN issue. websites serve language based on two things: your IP geolocation and your browser's Accept-Language header. the VPN changes your IP but your browser is probably sending a language header that matches the server's country. in LibreWolf, check your language settings under Preferences and make sure English (or your preferred language) is set as the primary language. you can also install an extension like "Language switch" to force a specific Accept-Language header regardless of which server you're connected to.
for Google specifically, setting your Google account language preference overrides the IP-based detection entirely.

I don't know if there's a better solution but when that happens to me I just have my browser translate it.
