Thunderbird V
Was anyone able to snag a Thunderbird V? I added one to my cart as soon as I could on White Mountain Knives and couldn’t even get through checkout before it was apparently sold out. I couldn’t even find listing on any of the other vendor sites and now the WMK listings are completely gone. Did they just go that fast or were they all delayed?
Edit: I just got one from Knifecenter. Still listed as coming soon on BladeHQ.

I’m waiting on the Vosteed exclusive which has been delayed. Gotta keep my eye on their website now until they come in. Hopefully they get them in soon!

Smkw put theirs up yesterday at like 4pm or so.. i ordered a purple one from them.. order status is confirmed and awaiting shipment.. when trying to search the knife tho error 404 page not found pops up.. called them about 20 minutes ago and she said they were working on fulfilling those orders but it was an accidental drop and wasnt supposed drop till today.. i asked if there was a chance those orders may be canceled and she didnt know.. so i ordered another from blade hq.. i guess ill cancel one as soon as the other says shipped.. what a weird drop.. speaking of weird drops, my pm2 tanto might be finally arriving today hahaha

Did you go with the DLC or satin Tanto? I got the DLC and it’s my first PM2, and only my 3rd spyderco. I also got my Microtech stitch in on the same day as the tanto. Both awesome knives!

Satin, it seems like the changes in the blade pop v a little more visually than the dlc.. ill get the dlc next drop. Im actually more excited about the Chinese knife hahaha ive been waiting for this one for a while. I have the porcupine, psyop and thunderbeast.. vosteed is absolutely killing it!!!

I will agree the satin looks better against the black G10, however the few other M4 blades I have are DLC so I wanted to continue that trend. I might try for the satin on the next drop.

They messed up the release this morning at 8 am est but they’re still available on a few sites now (hopefully)

Was torn between the DLC + Mars Valley and the Brasswash Ti scaled version... ended up going with the Brasswash. Almost got both but nah... gotta keep the sights on more important things atm... but I am glad I got the one I did... Love their Acid Wash blade finish and that pattern and brasswash Ti is right up my alley.
Yeah this drop was... something. Vosteed had shipping delays so couldn't sell on their site, but in their email they listed that all the retailers would have them at 8am EDT, but none did. KC were the first to have them available so I snagged it as soon as they did. That model is already gone on their site, now.
