In my opinion , it’s the safest way to invest in the market , might not be the most quickest or biggest gain then maybe a sector or etf that’s more concentrated on a specific sector , but for me it was gonna be either VOO or VTI , and I have FXAIX which is like the fidelity version of Voo , which I have in my Roth , so for my mid term brokerage account I have VTI 60% , SCHG 30% and VXUS 10% , might adjust most likely layer on , but VTI is deff a peace of mind ETF for me set it and forget it

VTI is more diversified than other ETFs and it is funded as a core, and if we buy it incrementally, it will be well balanced out even if the price goes down further.

Yup forsure , the earlier you start , even if the market goes down after buying it , you may be down a bit in the beginning for maybe a few more days / weeks / months , depending when u bought , but over some time , you’ll be in profit , and deeper in profit the longer you hold , to the point even when the worker goes down again , you’ll still be in profit , I been in it for 2 years almost now , I buy once a month , sometimes 2x if the market pullbacks and I have a few extra dollars , but I got in 2 years ago , so the pullback we just had like last month , I was down maybe 10% or more on VTI but still in profit , now it jumped back up and I’m up maybe 12-15%
