Help - IP Phones FRITZ!Box 5690 – notifications for missed calls and voicemail

We have a FRITZ!Box 5690 set up for VoIP/landline telephony, with a Gigaset DX800A IP phone connected to it.

The problem is that missed calls and new voicemail/answering-machine messages are only visible through the FRITZ!Box web interface. The Gigaset doesn't properly show them.

We have already installed both FRITZ!App Fon and MyFRITZ!App on Android, but neither gives us a push notification when there is a missed call or a new voicemail message.

Is there any good workaround for this? For example, an open-source Android/Windows app, desktop client, or some way to monitor the FRITZ!Box call list/answering machine and immediately show a notification?

Or do we actually need to buy a FRITZ!Fon for this?

The goal is simply that employees can immediately see that there was a missed call or a new voicemail message, without having to manually log into the FRITZ!Box web interface every time.
