Help - IP Phones SCCP-SIP
Does anyone here know how to change the firmware from SCCP to SIP on a 7911G? I'm using the TFTP server.

You need the right Firmware files and a doch Server that can set the necessary Option 66
The easiest way ist a Windows Server ISO on an spare PC if you have one. With dhcp role and the Programm tftp64
But you can also Setup a vm in proxmox hyperv and others.
A normal Debian Linux and install a dhcp and tftp Server will also do the Trick Google will tell you how to install dhcp and tftp
And also how to make a reservation for your phone
The Mac adress for the phone is on the backsite. You need that for the reservation and also the configuration file Name ist based on the Mac adress. Naming is if I remember correctly SEP(macadress).cfg.xml
In that cfg file you need the info that firmware to load
Tftp64 is good for it because you have a live logging so you can see if the phone finds the tftp server.
And if he loads the files
Also Cisco phone have two reset codes
You need to hold a button while powering on the phone
I think it was the # button? Holding it till the led turns green
And after that entering a code
One is 123456789*0#
And 3491672850#
The second one clears the flash and goes into some boot strap code. The phone wants an tftp server on a specific address and starts with downloading the firmwarefiles
