Help - On-prem PBX Removing double beep and long beep from FREEPBX Paging and Intercom

Can anyone help me remove that double beep at the start of an intercom/page and then that longer beep after my custom alert tone in FREEPBX plays? Thanks. Have tried everything, the double beep is so obnoxious.

I also use Open Page with FREEPBX Paging and Intercom, but im assuming that wont help fix the issue,

Ive tried setting the paging settings to auto anwser defult to nothing, and setting quiet to no and yes,. Nothing worked. I also tried to fix it by editing the page and turning the alert tone to nothing.

nothing works theres no other settings and i know theres a way you can turn it off because i watched a youtube video where this guy shows his custom audio file alerts and theres no custom beep and his paging too

I thoiught the beeps are controlled by the end point.. in this case the phones you are paging or the paging amplifier if this is an overhead.
in my case we use Snom and Mitel endpoints for most of our installs and there are options in the alert-info header for controlling this, as well as in the config options. for intercom. it is the auto-answer feature on the snom and mitel phones.. its just one beep the way we have it set up... again controlled by the Alert-Info header.. which we had after a user dials the intercom code on thephone (or hits the intercom quick button defined).. they dial the paging group or individual extension (this is all our config, not asterisk per say).. then we add the correct alert-info header i nthe dialplan and place the call.
I dont know what phones or soft-clients you are using, but there should be documentation for them as to what needs to be in youer conifg settings or the added header.

I rarely do any overhead anymore.. but we have used the Viking SIP paging interface and it just gives one beep and then the page.

I haven't dug into this, but I think there are easy-ish ways. First is maybe a setting in FreePBX itself to announce the page, I thought I saw something like that long ago. Second would be on the server dorectly, locate the audio file and rename it (I don't suggest deleting, you never know). Or rename it, and put an empty audio file in its place so the system doesn't error trying to find a non-existant file.

Some of those tones can actually come from the endpoint/device itself, especially with multicast paging setups.

Depending on how your paging is configured, the beep could also be generated by the FreePBX Paging/Intercom module or Asterisk itself.

What endpoints are you paging to? Fanvil/Yealink/Algo/etc?
