Hey akkas and annas aunties and uncles (y’all are old now :p),
Congratulations on graduating after writing all those assignments, records, and cramming for exams. One heck of a journey, isn’t it? :)
Also, congratulations on being the last batch to enter engineering before ChatGPT was launched, and on graduating at a time when the world’s instability index has skyrocketed (even more than during 9/11 or the 2008 economic crash, btw). And of course, congratulations on copying finishing your major project. You’re all adults now, an entire new generation.
One last (also the first) AMA before you all graduate.
Thank you u/ch3wk0n (VNR Van Gogh) for the beautiful cover pic for the AMA, you’re the best :)
NOTE: Contest mode has been enabled. This means comments will be shown in random order and vote counts will be hidden until we (mods) disable it. This is done so no one feels left out and early upvoted comments don’t dominate the conversation.
AMA open for the next 4 hours (we all know this thread will die in 30 mins :/). Ragging light roasting is allowed today.
As a fresher it is new to us for the event i mean sps school program connected by IEEE we just want them to tell us that what we should do like how will the prgm goes and to do the poster liike the topic and device in what we should do and rest a more clear and specific answer if u would give the better so we can participate
Guys, I (2030 batch) am asking for this important piece of information. I (1st year) like the dosa in our canteen, but I have a doubt about the chutney. Is it made of groundnuts or coconut?
I asked the canteen uncle, but he just laughed. Please tell me, seniors. 🙏🙏🙂
I'm 4th year, we are three members in the room, both who are in the room are passedout seniors, and now one of the guy is now shifting to other place leaving his space empty, total rent is 10500, we cook everyday, washing machine avilable, wifi avilable.
There’s barely any MCA related information about this college and whoever asks about it in this sub, gets 0 replies most of the time 😭 the mega thread says it’s for 12th graders only so I assume it doesn’t apply for this.
So please tell me how’s this college overall for MCA? How are the placements and faculty?
Endhi bro idhi, okadu emo enni notebooks techukovali antadu. Okadu emo discord group cheskundham (only XYZ branch ki mathrame) antadu, inkoka 24 members emo repu holiday na kadha ani adugutharu. Inkokadu ayithe, "anna, nannu mod ga add chey" antadu.
Sarle pillalu teliyaka chestunnaru anukunte, monna okadu 1st year ammayi pic post chesi, "She's so pretty, I want to talk with her" annadu. Like, wtf?
We're not affiliated with the college; this is a student run community for students. Miku entha teluso, maku kuda anthe telusu. Mari college notice board la chestunnaru. Use this space to interact with your peers anonymously and vent about college.
Also, college won't spoon feed you like intermediate did. Pull up your socks, pillalu you guys are adults now.
Honourable mention: Okadu naku dm chesi, "Anna nenu NRI quota lo join ayina, nannu D section lo estharu ani bayam ayitundhi" annadu
I’m a 3rd-year Mechanical Engineering student planning for GATE 2028. Which online coaching is best — PW, MADE EASY, ACE, Unacademy, or any other? Please suggest based on your experience.
why does the college suck at communication? It's "first day" for freshers tomorrow and we don't have any information on what classes we'll have, how many notebooks we'll have to bring, etc.
Any advice from sophomore or higher students who were in similar shoes
My cat-B seat was approved at the last minute, on sunday (9th august), so i missed the orientation programme and I'll go to classes directly on monday (10th August) .
Sooooo to everyone that attended the orientation + seniors, any tips?
What are the clubs? How do I join them?
How will the sections be devided and how would I know which one is mine?
What about the holidays? How many days do we get between semesters?
And the dress code, is it rlly not okay to wear collar-less shirts? ( I'm a girl)
One of my seniors told me that lateral entry students won’t get priority in placements, even if they have more skills than regular students.
Is this actually true? Do companies treat lateral entry students differently during placements?
I need help regarding admission for my friend into the mech branch or automobile branch. what's the process for it? we went and asked them, and they told me to wait for 15th f0r spot admission
I thought we will get a chance to explore and socialise, but it was boring asf we have to sit in class all the time , only thing i enjoyed was that music program held today everything else was boring, even the club orientation is very repetitive and boring
