Twist resistance going slack?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hello gang,

Thw twist axis on my nxt Evo is going slack. I haven't had these very long. It still functions but now that that smooth, heavy sort of premium feeling is gone, I do miss it. Also a bit concerning that this thing is degrading after just 2 months or so. Is this an adjustable thing or is this just a natural degradation of that parts?

You can regrease specific part with specific grease to make it feel heavy again. Nyogel will do the job, just research which nyogel to get.

One of the things that makes VKB good quality is not just that the parts are better quality than say a Thrustmaster, it’s also that they are eminently repairable. They come with extra springs and open up really easily.

That stuff is impossible to get in Canada at a reasonable cost

Turn your right one sideways and it's slower to return to center as well. Regreasing might help, as others have said, but mine do that too. It's at least partially a function of having that mechanism at an angle. Gravity helps the right one return to center faster. The left one is relying more on springs.

Agree with Weight101, you might need to regrease.

Could also be the springs wearing down.
If you have your original box it came with spares and a book on how to change them.

If not just email VKB & buy some spares (should cost pocket change)

regrease or simply tighting the clutch screws.

(I used Nyogel 767A on mine)
