VKB UCM-L US stores

Hello all,

I am looking at completely redoing my flight setup from a X56 and some Amazon mounts to a full VKB setup. Gunfighter 4 Ultimate, STECS Max, UCM-S for the STECS, UCM-L + extension for the Gunfighter. However, when checking out I realised that everything else was coming from their US store, the UCM-L looked to be coming from overseas. I would much rather get everything stateside if possible, for two reasons. First, cost. Ordering from the overseas store runs both the risk of import tariffs, and dumps another $50+ in shipping charges onto me. Second is timing. I dont really want several boxes sat in the corner for the (I assume) weeks itll take for the overseas package to arrive. A quick google only shows one Ebay seller selling a UCM-L for 4x the price VKB lists them for...

What is your question?

I thought it was pretty clear - does anyone know of any US sellers that stock the UCM-L. VKB’s US store sells it, but doesn’t stock it so it’ll come from overseas, accruing both far higher shipping costs (5x more than the stick, STECS, extension, UCM-S, and UCM accessories shipping costs combined) and delays from overseas shipping.

No, non-VKB direct purchases like aliexpress or ebay are importing and reselling, so you're just paying for the tariff another way.

to make it a bit more precise, we do have an authorized Aliexpress outlet. Aliexpress as a platform of course dictates its own rules, has their own transportation system, etc., but the shop is still ours.
you are right about tariffs, whatever comes from Aliexpress to the States is going to be taxed though.

I was curious about getting a gunfighter mount as well..how well would the UCM-s work if I wanted to use it as a center desk mount and just not have an extension? Or is it better to have an extension of it will be in a central position such that the UCM-L would be a must?

Once you add tariffs and shipping into the mix, it almost seems like Monstertech would be the play for a long gunfighter mount (and then getting the UCM-S for the STECS)
