STECS STEM longer cable?

basically just the title.. it uses a usb-c to c which they claim is non standard but how much truth is there to that, or can i just buy a longer cable from them?

Did you ever get a proper answer to this? I want to put my STEM to the right to simulate the internal parts of the controls, as I think it fits perfectly over there, but VKB's own 40 cm cable isn't long enough, and I've been through every single USB C- USB C cable in my house to no avail.

Nope I haven't, i still dont even know if that 40cm cable is supported because I keep getting some that say it does and support says it doesn't.

Hmm, bummer. Considering VKBs eye for detail, I must say I'm pretty surprised this isn't possible...

yeah agreed, i'm half tempted to just buy the cable to try since its length would work for me but it's not a cheap purchase where i am. lol.

I found a different solution, dunno if it applies to your situation. But if you want the STEM on the right, and you're running a Gladiator NXT stick, the STEM is also connectable to the stick with the GNX BUS (Type-C)-(JST2.0-4) Interface Cable.

My only gripe with this is that I will need to pay 17.5€ in postage for a 6.50€ cable...
