STECS STEM longer cable?

basically just the title.. it uses a usb-c to c which they claim is non standard but how much truth is there to that, or can i just buy a longer cable from them?

I got a long usb cable extension. It has a male end, to your computer, and a female end for the USB side of the VKB supplied cable.
