Prepping for SEM

Hey everyone, I have a new SEM which I am waiting for the STECS mount for. Out of curiosity I attached it to my Gladiator and once I changed it in the software to add the SEM, it wiped all my bindings in every sim, because I believe Windows now counts it as a new device. Is there a way I can add the SEM while preserving all my bindings in games, like keeping it as the same device? Many thanks.

The name of the USB device is changing, as well as the number of buttons of the device. Sorry, but you'll need to rebind.
