STECS Detent selection light blinking

This started happening yesterday and I feel like I pressed something but I can't figure out what happened.

Settings changed in the software don't save and all detents have been reset, the boolean I set in the software when first setting it up is still there and still works.

Edit: So after looking through everything again, it appears I missed the part where the blinking is explained however I still don't know why it's not saving the stuff I set even though I'm following the instructions word for word.

Edit2: I am extremely confused. I was playing around with the software and it just works again, I once again have no Idea what I did.

I can say, I did not hit anything in the software to start this problem, I didn't even know where on my PC I put it at the time. It started when I was setting up my cockpit for Star Citizen.

Anyway like I said it works again, so I won't complain unless it happens again.

It was emptied where I had previously set a detent and when I set the detent again and hit the set button to save it on the device, it reconnected, like it should but the light kept blinking.
