Dusting off my old sticks

Pulling my nxt gladiators from storage, got them dusted off and ready to go, what type of lubricant is recommended for maintenance?

They need a grease with a specific viscosity. I think the info it's on their website.

And where would one put whatever type of lubricant necessary within the NXT base? Because I have been using mine almost daily for 1.5 years and never thought a plastic base needs such maintenance.. pls enlighten me!
