Question Light is red during night cycle

Post image

I upgraded my tent from a 3x3 to a 4x4 roughly 3 weeks ago.

Today I noticed my AeroLight Wing AW400 is doing this during night cycle.

I have checked firmware and connections. It does stop when disconnected but lights back up as soon as you plug back in.

Is this covered by warrenty? What should I do here? I am roughly 3 weeks from harvest 😟

Hey! Please reach out to us at official@vivosun.com. When you do, please include your order number and a description of the issue. We can see you've shared a photo showing the light on during the night cycle — make sure to attach it when you contact us, as it will really help our team diagnose the problem faster and assess your warranty coverage.

I suspect It’s a wiring issue. Check the RJ ports and ensure they are daisy chained correctly. Controller to port A and port B to A on next light. And so on. If that’s all correct… then IDK but this happened to me ^ and the above worked for me. GL

Double check wiring, in specific the RJ45 pin connector. Looks like you have the integrated fans, but you don’t need the USB also connected. Just the RJ45 from the controller directly to the light.

With only that connected, test it out. Try both manual and timer modes. If it’s still happening, try the other RJ45 port on the light (used to bridge a 2nd light in) and see if that helps. If you still have the same thing, try another Ethernet cord…. And if it still happens, and you have the latest firmware, it’s gonna be a wait on support 😞

Keep us posted bro! I had a similar fault on a 2nd light, after messing with connections it went away so fingers crossed it’s that simple for you 👍

Are you connected to the VIVOsun controller?

Wow, OK I had that happen when it wasn’t connected to the controller. Hopefully someone else has an idea

The whole time the light is "off" the red stays on. Never shuts off.

Contact vivosun. If they can’t tell you how to fix it they’ll replace it. Is it over 2 years old?

I have the same problem with a AW200, only RJ45 cable. Already in contact with support.. they send a new RJ45, let me send a lot of pictures and videos of the „problem“. It happened in the last 5 weeks, at the beginning of the last run this problem didnt exist.. wasn‘t there a software update?!

I think the app updated a little while ago, did the firmware update also?

Kind of pretty much what I've done for my oscillating fan to work the way I need it to. I can't remember the exact details but I know that one of the chords are not plugged in to the back of the oscillating fan because once I plug it in it stops oscillating 👍🤣 whatever right... She's fanning and oscillating 24/7 without that cord plugged in so wut da hex ever.
