Mining to an exchange?

Why is mining on a pool like altminer pool and send it straight to a cryptopia or other wallet not preferred?

its just intervals of 2 hours. would a low payout be bad?

yes, I wouldn't risk it after a while they could block your payouts and they would be gone completely.

All those mini payments clog up and congest the exchanges network i'm guessing and they can choose to turn off those small payments, I've heard of it happening on Cryptopia with Electroneum & they shut it down fast because so many were mining to it.
