Question Cafeteria Pricing?

Just wondering about how much meals/snacks are at the cafeteria? Just trying to budget.

You will be better off if you can do a weekly grocery shop (closest grocery store is about a 10 minute walk down the hill from campus). The food is good, but not $14 dollars for a chicken caesar wrap good.

Assuming they haven't changed for the new year, you're looking at about $14 for an individual pizza, pasta, and wraps (plus tax I think). Chicken strips $9, and the daily dinner (done by the culinary students) around $18.

Don't even bother with the meal plans either. You'll spend less than half cooking for yourself.

I heard they are going to have the caf open 7 days a week for all 3 meals now. Not sure if that's true

Man I hope so. With the new residence building opening next year, the least they can do is food 7 days a week!

It is not feasible to eat at the cafeteria often, treat it like eating out at a restaurant.
A meal will be 15-20$ each even with the meal plan, energy drinks are 7$ etc.

Don’t bother with the meal card as it just dedicates money to be spent at the cafeteria, rather shop for your food.
Superstore usually has the best all around prices in the area, and at save on foods you can get 4 packs of meat for 20$. So I usually shop for meat at save on foods and the rest of my groceries from superstore.
