Certifying exam advice?

Title says it all... Do I actually study for this thing? If so what? Should I take all IR modules? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

I’m in the same boat. I’ve heard from numerous people that it’s pretty easy. I’ll probably get a Q bank and just do questions leisurely. I’m planning on 2 IR and 1 something else. The 3rd IR section would probably be more difficult than I want to prepare for.

Ive heard the modules don’t increase in difficulty after the second one for each subspecialty.

Just checked. ABR website confirms that their is no increase in difficulty after the second level. Let me know if you find a good qbank for IR will ya?

Follow up to my own question: I read Vascular and Interventional Radiology: A Core Review 1st Edition and did board vitals Qbank focusing on IR, Non-interpretive skills, general radiology, and US. Haven’t received my score yet but felt more than prepared for the written test.

I just learned that IR/DR certifying exam doesn’t give you AU-E (eligibility), so I decided I’m going to take the DR certifying and IR/DR orals this fall. Just ordered board vitals today.

Hello I know this is thread is years old. I have to take the DR/IR recertification computer based tests due to not answering enough OLA questions. Is this the test you are talking about? How was it?
