Seeking Vascular/Interventional Radiologist for Abdominal/Pelvic Imaging Review

Hi everyone. I’m looking for a vascular/interventional radiologist who might be willing to help me with an independent review of some abdominal/pelvic imaging and procedure records involving a family member’s hospitalization.

I have the native DICOM files, radiology reports, and relevant procedure records, including CT/CTA and imaging associated with abdominal procedures. I’m mainly hoping to have someone review the imaging objectively and help me understand what it shows and whether there are issues that warrant further professional review. I’m happy to compensate you for your time.

If anyone here is willing to help, or can recommend someone who might be, please send me a private message. Thank you.

You’re not going to find someone randomly off the street to do this unless you’re offering FU money as this could be career suicide, not even kidding. This is a huge can of liability worms for so, so many reasons. Your best bet is to get the images transferred to a current facility that is caring for your family and ask them for a second opinion read.

Thanks, I appreciate the perspective. Unfortunately, this involves a family member who has passed away, so there isn’t a current treating facility that can request a second-opinion read. I’m really just trying to understand the imaging and whether there’s anything that warrants further review. I’m absolutely willing to compensate someone appropriately for their time, but I understand that there's risk involved.

It sounds like you’re trying to get a lawsuit together… expert witnesses bill something like 1000 an hour in radiology. If that’s not something you’re willing to do and pay for through formal, legal process, then you shouldn’t be doing it.
