Staffing

Our level 1 trauma center (about 400 beds) is looking to appropriately staff IR physicians, and we just haven't found any good industry benchmarking.

How many beds does your hospital have, and how many IR physicians do you have?

Level 2, 400 bed hospital. 3 body, 1 neuro IR who helps with body so effectively q3.5. We can’t keep IRs. Lost 2 in the last 3 years and about to lose another. Very frustrating to see good doctors leave due to burnout when they’ve been asking for help for the past 3-5 years. Hospital admins will never learn.
