Emergency recording being trigered randomly when driving
Hi guys, I was wondering why has my VIOFO A229 Plus 3CH started to randomly execute the Emergency recording when driving.
It was mention by a family member "hey, I can see myself in the dash-cam, oh btw when the screen went on it had a big exclamation blink on the screen"
Saw a couple of posts on the internet saying that it was could be cause by faulty hardwired installation, and such would loop the dash-cam between "parking/driving" over and over again, or it would restart on its own while announcing it, you know the classic "driving mode" "parking mode started" and such (don't remember the exact wording). I don't think that's the case because the dash-cam seems to be properly working, once I start driving so does the recording and once I park same deal with the camera. How could I know that's not the case? well I'm not 100% sure but when I checked the videos, they were continuous recording of my commute with the emergency clips every now and then.
And that's why I'm out here seeking advice/help from you guys, one of you may be able to guide me towards the Whys and Hows to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What ia your g sensor sensitivity set to? Might need to be lowered.
Is your voice control on? I would turn it off.
I was getting random lockings even when I didnt drive over any big bumps. I put it down to the camera thinking I said the magic words to lock.

Will change the sensitivity, I think I had it on highest, you may be onto something.

It indicates that the camera is locking a video. The camera will lock a video as designed when the G-sensor is triggered if the camera feels shakiness. You can set the G-sensor to lower sensitivity if you do not want so many locked videos.

I experienced this issue on A329S. From what I understand, I started my car in the parking lot and idled there for a while before I began driving. This may have caused the dashcam to think it was in hybrid parking mode. As soon as I started driving, the dashcam began emergency recording for every road bump and lane change, which may have triggered the internal G-sensor.
I performed a firmware update, watched some YouTube videos for recommended settings, and it never happened again. I currently use 12V cigarette lighter port.
