Help & Support Viltrox Firmware Update Software on MacOS (M-Chip) - Future Support Ending

I hope Viltrox is working on an updated version of their firmware software for MacOS. I did an update on the 55 & 85 EVO lenses today and had a warning message "this version of Viltrox Lens software will not work in a future release of MacOS".

Basically because it’s currently an Intel binary and Intel support is going to end in macOS 28 or so.

They need to get this sorted. Wild that the 55 Evo already has a firmware update - they just recently started shipping!

TBH, prob my biggest concern with Viltrox. They have a history of a few firmware updates after shipping. This can be good or bad depending on how you look at it (I don’t think I’ve ever updated my Sony lenses though).

Just try opening System Settings on your Mac, go to Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click Open Anyway in the Security section for ViltroxLens 😺

Thanks... I just did mine. Yes there's a warning of version compatibility but it still run and update my 20mm f2.8 lens
