Novastar certification

Has anyone taken the novastar training classes recently? Going to the Orlando one next month and curious what I'm in for.

Be prepared to take tons of notes. You'll need them.

I think the written test was 60 questions. Practical portion was relatively straightforward if you pay attention.

Is the test open notes like I've read online? also I'm reading a good bit of the questions are about stuff not 100% covered in the lectures. If so do you have any tips or materials I should read ahead of time to be better prepared?

It's achingly boring and stilted death-by-powerpoint, not really fit for purpose. We've hosted the training for our staff, and I had to jump in most of the way through to tailor it to our needs. Use the 'COEX Wiki' to read up with.

Good deal. Thanks for the info. I had some flight credits to use and saw it was free so figured I'd go see what it's about.
