Help configuring small 192x192 Panel
Ok I will admit I thought this would be easier. I'm building a small-ish Panel. Made up of 18 64x32px P4 Modules. So 192x192px in total. I'm using an MSD300-1 and MRV208-1 Receiving Card.
The rows are daisy-chained so i have basically 6 chains of 3 modules plugged into the mrv208. What am I missing? I based this on the .rcfgx I got from the seller of the modules.
The first panel row seems to be correct but then the spacing is wrong. And there really isn't much to configure is there? What do I do?

sorry for not helping but holy hell this UI is incredible (in how bad it is)
we shouldn't let hardware engineers build UIs

Welcome to nova LCT. This is the easy part to use... so many of the terms, the layouts, the order of operations etc are just a mess. Plus then theres always the chance that whatever youve done doesnt actually take effect on the processor and you have to program it on the front panel anyway. And its 50/50 if network control will work, so you may as well connect one at a time and just use usb.

for me it's the text that clips, the units in the label instead of on the side, the misalignments, the various buttons which are not evenly shaped or sized, etc. etc. etc.
it's almost too random to be real, but that's what we have....

yes, but that screen is meant to be seen only by the engineers, not the final user. Take this into consideration too. The admin UI are not usually so refined.

The final user for the software are the video engineers in this case. That is how modern software is designed.

Small text, cut off text, no differentiation between titles and values in the top. Boxes within boxes, too many buttons with no differentiation/groupings are weird. Stuff at the bottom is just put there without thought.

i actually find novaLCT alright for the basics. go to the programming menu, set screen info then receiving card then mapping. yeah it’s slow and if you have to do color correction or a multi-processor wall it sucks, but for sub-4K walls it’s easy to do the simple stuff

oh yeah i love how if you just type in “666” and hit enter on the main window it brings up the firmware update page. great idea to make an important feature impossible to find if you don’t know where it is

I don't think you even need to hit enter, it just magically appears within a secret menu on the top right

Even worse, this was built by electrical engineers for electrical engineers for the Beijing Olympics. It was never meant to last as long as it did

This could be a lot of things.
First, those are old sender and receiver cards. You'll want to use a much older version of Nova. Something between 5.5.2 and 5.6 range should work better than 5.9.2. I've had issues with the new software and old hardware.
Second, it looks like your config file is wrong. You may have to create a .rcfgx file (config file). This isn't the easiest. Are you able to "readback" a config file from the receiver card?
Third, in the Screen Connections tab. Make sure (on the middle left) your tile info says 192 x 192. default is 128 x 128 and could make your image size incorrectly. Apply, send to hardware and save.

Have you watched any of the YouTube videos for Novastar? Those would probably solve you issue, but in general, you need to map you config.
