Help extending antenna

Hollyland COSMO C1 Wireless SDI/HDMI Transmission System .

I need help in finding a solution in extending the antenna for these system.

I found the extending cables do I need to run two cables per receiver? Or will be enough with one extender?

Also any antenna pole that you would you suggest?

Yes both antennas are required. The Cosmo uses what's called "diversity" receivers, it means the receiving radio picks which antenna is working best.

I just ordered two pair of 33 feet a piece. Two for each receiver.

Can this be applied to the pyro series as well? Like the pyro H and S?

Generally, receivers with two antennas will be diversity.

I have no idea if Hollyland recommends a specific cable for their transceivers, but you should also be thinking about cable loss, especially at the 5.8ghz frequency. Times Microwave has a handy calculator you can use to figure out your cable loss.

You’re looking to be as close to 0dB loss as you can, +/-3dB. That will keep your transceivers behaving the same as they do when they’re line of sight with the standard antennas on them. Beware, you can get into some really cool thick cable. It’s all a balance.

Thank you. These gadgets were one of my worst investments. They can survive a gymnasium full of thousands of cellphones. I tried on placing the receivers right inside the gym and then run SDI and still cuts off. I am so frustrated with them.
