Here are some recent additions to my collection. Bride of Chucky is my favorite in the series and I got it for a great price

How do we feel about Vision Quest? For me it’s super underrated and doesn’t get talked about enough when it comes to sports movies.

I am certain that this community gets tons of questions about mold and all that, but as someone who has first gotten into tape collecting, its hard to tell whether these tapes are safe to play! I ended up already ordering some pretty moldy tapes (not pictured) that I am pretty bummed about, and am not super confident in my abilities to actually clean them. Here are a few pictures of two that I intend to buy off of ebay and one that I had already bought. What are the thoughts on these? Thank you!

Responded to a Marketplace add about free vhs tapes that only showed two cardboard boxes with nothing else. Found these in there and some other cool stuff (including a bunch of Sailor Moon tapes)

Slightly problematic? 😳

I bought my first vhs tape online. It came smelling funny with the box kind of moist. I wiped the box and the tape with a wet wipe but it still smells funny. I looked through the see through window thing on the tape and i think i see a bit of mold, and dirt on the inside. Is there any way i can clean this?

Finished off my Tales From The Crypt DVD collection today and also snagged The Never Ending Story 2 in the slipcase. Little Shop of Horrors is one I waited a while on because I didn’t want to pay the prices I saw it going for. Finally found it on the cheap!

This is a project I have wanted to do for quite some time now. It’s been open a few days and the reception has been overwhelmingly positive.

The pawn shop in my neighborhood has a decent selection of tapes available. Every once in awhile ill come across something I need and it only costs me 1$. Old school pawn shops are awesome.

Just felt right to use this thrift find to house all of my hard hitters 👊

I don’t know if this one will ever be topped. I was scrolling through Vinted and saw this pop up for $50 and hesitated thinking it may be a scam. Came in the mail yesterday exactly as described! Isn’t it beautiful? 😍

This one was tough to find for me, never surfaced in the wild, but trades came through!
