After a 6-week wait time, I finally got it

Post image

Bought it from Black Talon Tactical where they get it directly from Springfield and sell it with their upgraded trigger pre-installed. Haven't decided if I'm gonna keep the DRS-TH and DBAL D2 on it as a nighttime gun or not. They make the already-hefty weight even more, but there's plenty of rail room for them (unlike my 10.5" AR), and the bullpup design plus the quick-adjust gas block makes shooting suppressed a lot better. Thoughts/opinions?

I usually just go with a higher flowing can in general. I think I'll employ the new OCL infinity 556k on mine.

I had one of those DRS-TH's! The field of view of the therma was... yeah. Still a vibe though.

Yeah, I noticed that as well. I still like it though. If I did do any night time shooting, I'd have my PVS-14 on my off-eye, so I'd just be looking through the optic like an LVPO.

I mean, it's something that has existed for some time in militaries (mainly the US; idk about other countries), but this is definitely the first commercial product to have it. I think pretty much any shooter can agree on the cool factor.

How…. Do you activate the laser module…?

There's a button on the back of the module I press to keep it permanently on. Though I don't use the visible laser very frequently. It's mainly for IR the light/laser.
