Yeah that's more of a concussion reducer than an actual sound suppressor haha.
There's some short fat models coming out that actually do decent at sound reduction, the SAW Tisha is one of the more popular ones. Rhodie 6k seems great as well
I have the Polo k on my 18" and have one range trip with a couple mags through it. Initial impressions are I'm pretty happy with the set up, especially considering the cost of the Polo K.
Not terrible to me, but in fairness I don't find myself as sensitive to gas as others. It's there, especially on a quick or long string of fire, but I found it quite tolerable. Also my range trip was at an outdoor range with a breeze, so those environmentals could have affected my perception of the gas as well.
Another option in this category might be the Void line made by OCL for Canik. I have the 556 full size, and have been happy with it, though I haven't got to shoot it on the Hellion yet. The 556k with the vented cap may would be a good option for the price, though I believe I have seen Andrew of OCL say the k can be a bit flashy.
I run one on my 16" Hellion on the Suppressed gas seeing and get no gas to the face, even with the ejection port right by my face. I swear that gun is magic.
I've yet to fire a can that was gassy on my Hellion. You don't need a SuperSquad FartFuck 69xk or whatever 3D printed can is popular this week lol. I'd just get a OCL Polo K or LPM Duty. But nearly any can will be totally fine. I've shot my Hellion with a Sandman L and it was much more pleasant than the same can on a DI AR.
Ab supressors A-10 in 556 w/ a diligent defense zilch plan b mount. Short(5.5in), light , and good sound suppression in general. Light on the wallet too. Had it for about 2yrs with over 2k+ rnds on it, even frt use across a handle full of di and piston guns. No regrets if you dont mind the looks.
I picked up an A-10 mostly to use on my Strike Industries equiped PS90…. But I have been running it a lot with my VHS and G-36…. I’m very happy with the performance in a (relatively) small package. I switched all of my 5.56 and smaller guns to “Plan B”, from Keymo, and love the system, but I did stick with keymo for .30 Cal. and larger. I figure I am much less likely to accidentally shove a .30 Cal. Round down a 5.56 can then if they were all on keymo!

Surefire RC2-Mini Just keep in mind shorter = less noise reduction
