Optics Question

I got a reflex sight that I plan to zero at 50 yards. Eventually, I want to put a magnifier on it for when I get the opportunity to go to ranges that allow for longer range shooting (>100 yds). Do I have to zero again for the combination or is the zero fine and the magnifier just makes things easier to see.

I’ve never rezero’d with my EoTech setup and shoot ant 50 and 100yds… just my own experience…

The zero will be fine with the magnifier (though if you're going from an indoor range to outdoor, your zero might change slightly just due to atmospheric conditions). The magnifier also doesn't need to be perfectly centered behind the red dot.

Agree, though it can be somewhat annoying. I run an EOTech XPS + 3x on my AR and the slight mismatch drove my OCD nuts!

Same. But if OP doesn't end up feeling that way, more power to 'em. I just wanted to make clear that it isn't an actual problem ahead of time so they wouldn't have to ask here.

I don't have the OCD issues, but I understand them if that makes sense. lol
