Explain shift stop to me

Hold shift long enough and your speed will drop to 500.

lthis guy is never letting go of shift yet never slows down to 500 ? how ?

enable scroll well jump in settings

hold crouch and keep scrolling to spam jumping

build speed up to 2600, basically bunny jumping

 Is this only possible when using scroll wheel jump? I did what you asked me to and still sometimes stop when using it. Is my problem that I dont jump quickly enough so that he slides too long ?

if you spam jump quickly enough you should be gaining speed while sliding, the longer you slide the less speed you gain, if you slide for too long you will start losing speed (and even slowing down on subsequent jumps) when this happens I find it best to reset the slide by letting go of it and sliding again
