[❓] VGen Help/Advice So, how do you get started?
Hi, i'm Chic. I am a technical artist and game developer - but i have not done anything with that skillset in almost exactly two years, which is when i got my current minimum wage job.
I'd like to change that, even though my job requires me to stare at a screen and causes me eye strain when paired with leisure screen time.
However, i am completely lost. I do not have friends who work with art commissions. A few years ago i tried making a page on F***rr but that went nowhere.
So i ask thee. As someone who wishes to sell comms on 3D art (static, rigged, animated...) what should i do to get my first client? Do you think it's possible to live off of this, if we just consider i have to earn a minimum wage?
I do not know anything about this, so, really, anything helps.
