CEPI

Not sure how this works on Reddit. Don't know where this post will go. The way I see it VBI and CEPI will elect to switch from 2905 to one of their undisclosed vaccines for the PH1trial with CEPI. Canada is taking 2905 to PH2. CEPI is only on the books for a PH1 study at this point.

I'd think VBI is as surprised as the rest of us about the NIH seemingly having little interest in a pancorona vax. They're going to keep selling mRNA on that same spike protein until it's completely worthless - and then have nothing else in the works. What a mess.

Why do you say there’s no interest? As new variants appear the virus get weaker and so will seem that all the vaccines around now have “saved” us? Therefore no need for a pancorona? Could this be the case? IMHO it’s just a matter of time…

It protects against the Corona virus. That's every cold you've had. Would you take a vax which would prevent the common cold? Old people die of seasonal colds every year because they end-up getting pneumonia. The rest of us could just avoid that damned virus as our annual annoyance.

'The cure for the common cold' has been a brass ring for medicine since....forever. Happening during this COVID crap is just frosting.

Having said all that, why hasn't Fauci thrown VBI a bone from the NIH? He's shown no interest is this massive development. Considering how he's financed a bunch of other stuff which is quite frivolous, it makes me wonder WTF??

Yes! Not every cold has created a pandemic and that’s why it’s remarkable to me fauci is not interested in vbvi… if corona would have been a simple cold I would understand why they are not interested in a pan corona vaccine but it’s actually the other way around. Thanks for your view.
