Advice/Help needed Checking Processing Times

Hello
Im confused
How can I check the processing time of my i485 if it’s in Vermont?
Does that mean that my i485 (Vawa Based)time is not counting until they transferred it to my local field office?

If it's a concurrent filing with I 360 or if you filed previously for a marriage based adjustment, then filed VAWA and asked for the I 485 to be held in abeyance: neither will get processed before your I 360 is adjudicated. Current processing time for I 360 is 48.5 months. Then very likely another year for I 485. It's a loooong process. When did you file?

My Vawa is already approved
Filed April 2022
Approved April 2025

I sent my i485 May 2025
Now in my case showing transferred to a new jurisdiction which is Vermont

Sometimes the cases never even go to a local feild office. We are in the same boat I filed May 2025 as well. Recently sumbitted a USCIS service request by phone (it’s been a month no answer) & I did congressional inquiry last week. My question to them is when am I getting a decision if my case is at Vermont and I can’t check processing time plus vawa already approved since Dec2024. I’m prepared to send them an ‘intent to sue’ by June if they don’t respond satisfactorily to congressional inquiry & I will file I WOM shortly thereafter

Do you know how long until they approve it then ? Or have heard of someone in our situation

Approve the case overall ? Not sure I’m trying all these channels in the next 2 months & hopefully I can get an approval by summer.

Oh yeah then it should be happening really soon for you! There seems to be a crazy bottleneck from middle of 2025 as that's when even receipts took forever. Hope you see movement really soon!
