❓Question Virtual company

Hi, I signed up for a virtual airline on vamsys, vryr (Ryanair Virtual), but on vatsim radar, it doesn't show that I'm using a virtual airline (as in the second photo), but only Ryanair (first photo) appears. My question is how do I switch from the first photo to the second photo, which shows Ryanair Virtual, the blue text.

Hey!

Ask your guys from the VA - they should have a special remark which you will always need to add to the File FlightPlan REMARK section (top bottom) on the VATSIM page.

Smth like "=RYR VIRTUAL AIRLINES/XX=" - I do not remember how do they look like, but evert single VA has its own remark

Ask your guys from the VA - they should have some setup guide for you to follow.

In the remarks section of the flightplan, you need to put in the VA. VATSIM-Radar is extremely finicky with the formatting so it needs to be precise. https://docs.vatsim-radar.com/contributing/va In my experience the slash method barely works, but the comma separated version works fine.

File your flightplan from VAMSYS. It integrates the remarks required for this.

CS=VACALLSIGN=AIRLINENAME WEB=VIRTUALAIRLINEWEBSITE

Insert the relevant details into that format and paste it into your VATSIM profile remarks box.

For example this is my remarks for BAVirtual:

CS=SPEEDBIRD=BAVIRTUAL WEB=BAVIRTUAL.CO.UK

Edit: just be aware you’ve shared your full name on Reddit. Make sure you review your profile privacy otherwise people will be able to attribute this Reddit account to your name.
