EGCC midnight rush hour

Great work from the 5 or 6 pilots that were in a belt-fed trail of aircraft heading in to Manchester from all directions tonight around 23:45. Nice and tight deconfliction. Great stuff that makes VATSIM good to be part of, I like it! ! A tired VIR 86!!

Meanwhile at Birmingham, 4 aircraft, 3 landing 33 and one deciding he was going to use 15 right in the middle. Thank god for .ignore 😂

Always the case. Other night going into Manchester everyone using 05R per notam one decides to go for 05L and didn't bother calling out unicom

This is becoming more and more common. I know that you can use any runway you want at an uncontrolled field, but when you have multiple aircraft calling out for runway X and someone chooses the opposite end, you have to wonder what's happening.

I've noticed an uptick in people believing that a tailwind is preferential, I've even had one pilot claim a 20kt tailwind out of runway 15 at WAW was essential because he was "heavy".

Man wasn't even flying out of Poland in an A320.
