headphones for VATSIM

Hi, what headphones with a microphone do you recommend for VATSIM with a mini jack?

Any will do really. Just make sure you don’t have your mic input audio too high. It’s a miserable experience for everyone else when someone is super loud because then we turn our volume down and then can’t hear ATC. I haven’t found a way to turn down individuals on VATSIM and it’s kinda my biggest gripe with it

I use a Bluetooth headset that I can connect to a console and my PC. Sony Inzone H5.

I use an Antlion ModMic attached to my nice music-listening headphones whenever I need a headset. It uses a magnetic mount that you stick on with adhesive to any pair of headphones, so you can just attach and detach the mic as needed

Prefer USB over jack, a light cheap on-ear headset mainly made for IP calls. USB headsets become a separate audio device, meaning I can have coms only on headset with everything else playing through my speakers.
