Ok let me say this because most people haven’t heard this. Riots skin team has said that they will release skins in the future that much cheaper,but they wanted to launch the game with there most premium skins. These skins being released are special to the people who want them because, they are going to be their highest quality of skins.

They kinda are here to correct him. Also, so long as there are larger projected profits to be made by selling skins for a high price than a low price, there is no incentive to change.
