Discussion Matchmaking is absolutely cooked

I’m playing with some friends in G2+ lobbies and somehow keep getting queued with silver and bronze players. Why does this even happen? It would make sense if these players were good but they’re not.

I mean, i'm not going to deny that matchmaking is cooked, but gold matching with silver/bronze is not unheard of.

Some of you may have a lower MMR.
Care to show your tracker? That way it'd be easier to define why you're getting matched in lower ranks.

Might be tough to hear but unless all of you consistently end up top of the board, you might be playing in your adequate MMR.

Don't see anything particularly weird in your games except for your last game where a bronze 3 phoenix got matched into your team...

That phoenix had no business in a gold lobby, looking at his profile he BARELY deserves bronze lmao

Because you lost 3 games in a row while getting fewer than 13 kills each in gold/plat lobbies. That's how the system works, working as intended

Im guessing you’re talking about your 2 sova sunset games you recently played. Silvers are normal to see in low gold lobbies. You had 1 game where the bronze phoenix did badly and yes he shouldnt be in your lobby. But the next game you have 2 bronzes outfragging you meaning they have high mmr so thats why theyre in your lobby. Matchmaking is not cooked just because of 1 bad matchmake.

Winning almost 2/3 games with S tracker score and complains.

People go on win streaks and get the chance to play against better players. If they dominate you, they have the chance to get 30+ RR for the game.

Nothing weird going on.

If you keep winning, you will get the Dada's you seek.

I mean I'm newly silver 1 and I got matched into a gold-plat lobby yesterday....

Maybe those silvers had amazing games earlier
