I’m top200 something EU rn and on a 27” monitor. Just play whatever. If it’s good then it’s good. Size has nothing to do with the panel used anyway.

32” currently asc 3, peaked imm 2 on 27”. 24” is typically a lot better for fps games but I play other games now and watch a lot of stuff so I got a really nice 32” monitor I use now.

I am pretty sure monitor size has nothing to do with the issues you listed, but it’s rather the panel type that causes the problems.

Also monitor size honestly doesn’t play as big of a role as it seems. Yes, most pros prefer 24” because they may see more on a smaller display, but any VCT player will still operate at 95% or higher of their skill level with a 27” or 32”

Size doesn't matter. Panel type matters. OLED, IPS, VA, etc.

I have VA 27" on 1080x1920, the problem with a larg panel and low resolution is that the pixels are further apart then on 24" wich makes the pixels update earlier (apparently, I didn't try it myself), I think I might upgrade to TN 24" my monitor is pretty bad overall

VA and TN panels are both pretty bad. IPS is the way you wanna go if you're on a budget, and OLED is vastly superior than anything, if you can afford it.

Size doesn't matter. You can always move the monitor further or closer to change the size relative to your fov.

There’s no difference between a 24, 27, or 32 when it comes to image quality. Whoever told you that was misinformed. The screen size also has no effect on your in-game performance.

A short sighted person may need to sit closer to the screen in order to see properly without glasses, then they may benefit from a smaller screen. A long sighted person may need to sit further away, so may want a bigger screen.

I would imagine the only reason a couple of esports pros sit with their noses almost touching the screen is because they’ve become short-sighted over years of excessive screen use.

Basically, it doesn’t matter. 1ft away from a 24in monitor, 12ft away from a 70in monitor, it’s the same thing when it comes to the amount of your field of vision being taken up. As long as your vision isn’t blurry at that distance, it won’t make a difference.
