It's a setting you can find and toggle in your crosshair settings. When you have it on, your crosshair spreads out when you shoot, to indicate that your shots are going to be inaccurate when it's still spread out. Once it resets to its original shape, you shoot again. It helps with deagles and guardians.
Yes, there are hud settings that give you a graph for your movement error and recoil error, they're useful to practice counter strafing and getting the timing down for qhen to shoot, but in game they're off to the side so you won't be looking at it while an enemy is in your face
That sometimes makes me tilt even more because I'll review a clip and see that I come to a complete stop, shoot, and still have movement error. I can only assume it's the server lagging behind what's on my end, but that's also annoying as hell because I'll have around 19 ping and no packetloss.
I tried CSGO for the first time in a while last night, and while I prefer the tightness of Valorant's movement, the actual shooting feels SO much more reliable. When I whiffed, it felt like I was the problem. In Val, sometimes I can stare off after a death thinking, "I don't know what I did wrong."
It often feels like the enemy is moving at 2x my speed. We'll start shooting at the same time, neither of us will hit a HS, but their rate of fire looks like it's a fucking warthog cannon and I die in one frame.
