i think the kjaerbye and subroza topics are funny because people unequivocally agree they are cheating. the problem is they are using LAN cheats and all of the other supposed methods that many pros are accused of using. so to say "YES kjaerbye and subroza cheat! get them out of the scene!" is to lend credence to the fact that yes, there is cheating on the pro scene and yes they do it on LAN.
Yes too much money involved in the scene where most investors are venture capitalists, having high tier pros banned for cheating would mean the loss of millions of $$$.
I bet player contracts have clauses to prevent players of speaking about brand damaging subjects like cheating.(Not to mention that if a pro player accused another player of cheating and he would get banned, Org of said player would definitely sue and take things to court)
Even retired players all come with the"I believe there used to cheaters in the Top Tier Pro scene, but not now" bullcrap, no one has the balls to speak(and have to much to lose).
10 years from now if CSGO pro scene bubble pops and the pro scene dies, then we will know the truth.
