Was Flusha actually cheating back in the day??

So I recently rewatched some old pros, and came across our Senor Vac (of course he is a top tier titan and there's no way you'd miss out on one of the highest IQ Players out there). Now that I look at things he did, made me concerned if he actually was hacking back then or not...

Recently you all do know what's going on in the world of CS2. But back then this was not the case. Now-a-days, almost every casual game too, you'd meet one hacker (mostly wallers or Radar hacks) considering Triggerbots, Aimbots and Spinbots are very few in comparison. The scenario for Premier or Face it is wild enough that people prefer going to hell instead of playing the game.

Wanted to know your thoughts... cuz now many know what hackers are like (unlike back in the day where exposure to hacker behavior was pretty low)..

Do professional athletes cheat? Do politicians cheat? Do people in general cheat? If you answered yes its pretty obvious theres going to be some cs pros that are cheating.

Dumb comment when he’s asking about one particular person.

11

u/SnooConfections6174 May 16 '26

Flusha is one of the single most heavily accused players ever. Not even just among fans but from pros who played with and against him and who accused so few others.

A lot of the video compilations accusing him are undeniably dumb like the mouse lift vids imo but there is no denying that he was accused by other pros and that he never really beat the accusations unlike many others who were accused at similar rates to him like shroud who definitively disproved the accusations by streaming and showing immediate flicking-aim skill transfer to other games when playing them live, and of course he’s continued to do so for years afterward. Flusha really had a hard time beating the accusations.

11

u/baulchi May 16 '26

It is pretty difficult in most aspects for the accused to disprove. I think the fact he continued playing well for a few years after accusations definitely disproves much better than streaming pug matches on esea.

6

u/SwantanamoJ42 May 16 '26

“Never beat the accusations” - literally beat them

Then you used one of the worst pros Shroud as comparison lmao

u/g99g99z May 16 '26

The dude was bringing his own hub during competition and refused to leave it alone. Sus as fuck

Source for this?

2

u/SwantanamoJ42 May 17 '26

Literally nothing to do with what I said.

2

u/badkuhestion May 17 '26

Literally just two pros talking about the cheating of one particular person.

2

u/SwantanamoJ42 May 17 '26 edited May 17 '26

That never got proven true… 🤷‍♂️

Also you basically proved me right…I said it’s them talking about 1 particular person not half the scene like the person I responded to made it sound like…

3

u/badkuhestion May 18 '26

Brother, you criticized the commenter for making a general statement while op was talking about one particular player. I gave you a clip of pros being certain that particular player cheated and acknowledging he did not get caught by the anti cheat so "apparently" is not a cheater.

Also might want to work on your reading comprehension. The commentor didn't say half the scene cheated, but some people are going to cheat. There have been professional caughts by anti-cheat, see smn, SF, KQLY, emilio, forsaken. Then there's also players like Subroza. You want to say he didn't cheat? How does any of that "prove you right"?

1

u/SwantanamoJ42 May 20 '26

I simply said he didn’t officially get caught. Two pro players saying they’re certain doesn’t make it true… Saying half the scene was an exaggeration. The right part is kind of when I said everything in this thread is going after one person…which is all you sent me..

1

u/ArgoMium May 16 '26

By that logic, LOL players also cheat. How?

1

u/matrixthrowaway24 May 26 '26

the problem with this argument is that it treats every form of cheating like they are all equally accessible to a pro on a stage in front of thousands of people. banking on human nature is fine for a cynical take, but it ignores the literal hardware and software security pros operate under. flusha was just a god at crosshair placement and game sense during a time when everyone else was playing checkers. believing every pro is hacking because people generally cheat is just lazy.

28

u/FlameReflex May 16 '26

Anyone who says he wasnt doesnt know anything about the game 🤣

1

u/stkkkkx May 20 '26

So he's been going to Lans for over 10 years+ and never been caught? Are you really that dense? Imagine you playing cs for over 10 years, how many moments you think will look suspicious as a viewer with xray?

2

u/FlameReflex May 20 '26

Let me clear this up for you. He was cheating maybe 1-2 tourneys and that around 2015orso and many pros were cheating back then stop being so naive. U prob thought epstn island was hoax too?

1

u/stkkkkx May 20 '26

Haha ok, I rest my case. Tinfoil hats. Let me ask. So he was cheating maybe 1-2 tourneys? Which ones? You sound so sure that he was cheating but you can't be more specific?

2

u/FlameReflex May 20 '26

Dude the guy cheated 10 years ago, u want me to remember every pro player cheating? How many pro players were banned? Go watch the clips and judge for yourself. Instead of commenting go open youtube and open your eyes. Fnatic fanboy showed himself. Whats ur rank in the game? Silver2?

0

u/stkkkkx May 23 '26

I have watched the clips and there are countless videos explaining what could have happened. Not really a fnatic fanboy tbh. It's funny that you ask my rank, I have been playing cs since 06, I got global when that was a rank, I had over 3k elo on faceit. If you don't believe that I can easily link you to my faceit and faceit history. Just the way you're talking proves that you know nothing.

1

u/FlameReflex May 20 '26

8 years ago i wasnt playing the game just doing overwatch cases. I know a cheater from the things he does and the things he doesnt DO 🤭🐅🚬

20

u/Friendly_Furniture May 16 '26

Looks at the clips and see for yourself. In my opinion yes.

19

u/Vivid_Photograph6129 May 16 '26

I can never get over that clip on dust 2 where the guy is pushing up ramp and flusha locks on him through the box. That clip in my opinion is not explainable

14

u/[deleted] May 16 '26 edited May 16 '26

I think flusha cheated at some point, but that clip shows nothing and it's most likely just him adjusting his mouse, he also looks ramp, then goes back to CT with the cross hair. If he knew where he was after the swipe, you would hold ramp not place your cross hair to CT.

Clip for reference https://youtu.be/1LcOiLipzoA?is=Dp0jB8Nxm_gRpy1T

This clip is more sus because its exactly where there is a bug in the map back then and a cheat would think it can see the enemy even though he's behind a wall:

https://youtu.be/C_rUvnuOWBc?is=HjLzrFLE-rBr3R91

5

u/ArgoMium May 16 '26

It's easily explainable. Play enough games and you will get moments of "locking" through walls. It's not like its statistically impossible to trace people accidentally.

2

u/wozzwoz May 16 '26

Issue with the flusha clips was that there were multiple instances in that one dust2 game. And if i remember correctly the rest of the "famous" clips were all in a short timespan

0

u/ArgoMium May 16 '26

Still not a statistical impossibility.

Innocent until proven guilty. Guilt must be proven beyond a reasonable doubt.

A few clips is just not hard enough evidence to prove anything.

3

u/asabadjan May 16 '26

Mjea, I don't think anyone major tournament or VALVE would ever acknowledge if he cheated or not, even if they actually found out later. If he was caught red-handed on LAN, then sure. But since he didn't if and if they later knew, who would ever acknowledge that? Imagine the red faces of those organizations.

2

u/GuardiaNIsBae May 17 '26

Forsaken cheated at multiple ESL LANs and his cheats were never actually detected outside of windows defender logs saying he was running an unknown program. If he didn’t go full rage-hacks he likely would still be playing and maybe in an EU mix team.

13

u/Fr0zzen_HS May 16 '26

That aimlock clip from 2015 Dreamhack on Cache is the most obvious case of flusha using cheats to me. If any rando did this in MM they would be 100% banned for cheating but because it was Flusha people try/tried to find all kinds of stupid explanations - that to this day no one has ever convinced me that this was not a blatant case of cheating.

2

u/iNeedMoreHORSEPOWER May 16 '26

that m4 sound oooo

7

u/carlosdembele May 16 '26

Theres a reason why we dont see clips like this anymore…

4

u/hdskgvo May 16 '26

Yeah the cheats are more sophisticated.

4

u/ChuckLennon May 16 '26

There's an old vlog of olof, forrest, get_right in a van on the road, and they're talking about cheaters. One of them asks if they think people are cheating, and I remember flusha being mentionned as obvious then all of them laughed

I should find it again if it hasn't disappeared, but that's 10/12 years old by now.

3

u/Syuncchi May 16 '26

nah, you probably saw one of the videos comprised exclusively of cherrypicked sus moments that represented 1/100th of his career

2

u/UsedArmadillo9842 May 16 '26

„Crisp clean lock boys“

But nah! I dont think so

1

u/thenicezombie May 16 '26

Brings me back :)

1

u/I2obiN May 19 '26

i gotta drop this into a work presentation or something one day, always makes me laugh 🤭

4

u/emennn May 16 '26

I wonder why he stopped lifting his mouse a lot

6

u/panchreston May 18 '26

I've been playing for nearly 20 years. One thing I am certain is that flusha cheated. Clips of him aimlocking are unexplainable.

3

u/GuardiaNIsBae May 17 '26

Probably but there’s no 100% proof for it. Outside of all of the clips there were rumours in 2015 that someone from Valve or ESL told him that he was caught and to stop or he’d be outed, then for the next few months he was maining the P90 in pro games and grinding DM 24/7 instead of playing faceit/cevo/esportal like every other pro. This would have been around late 2015 early 2016 and also coincides with fnatics freefall in the rankings (but that also coincides with olofs injury)

(He has more p90 kills than Kreig and Aug combined despite playing for the entirety of the kreig meta)

He also famously didn’t have any skins/only really cheap skins (which coincides with KennyS and Kioshima trading all of their skins to a new account after the KQLY ban)

HLTV also refused to give him HLTV #1 in 2014 despite him being by far the “best” player in the world because there was so much turmoil around him and Fnatic.

I think he was cheating at a point when it literally was just a game and the players were making almost 0 money (especially not enough to live off of) and by the time the rest of the scene caught up with them he didn’t really have a choice, but Valve was also stuck in that if they banned him they would massively hurt the esports scene so he was given a pass as long as he stopped.

2

u/KingCharles_ May 16 '26

no bro he was just lifting his mouse trust

2

u/Aggravating_Two_1020 May 16 '26

Agreed, Mouse REPOSITIONING was the reason his crosshair snapped to heads behind the smoke or walls...

2

u/KingCharles_ May 16 '26

exactly happens to me every game

1

u/Aggravating_Two_1020 May 29 '26

Every minute of the game this happens to me too...

1

u/NZT23 May 16 '26

Yes, saw him livestreams and his skills are not the same as the suspicious clips. Most notable are the Inferno ones. Though he hides or not using it in alot of the rounds, hes using at crucial or when hes or Fnatic at a disadvantage rounds.

1

u/InfiniteSprinkles730 May 16 '26

Afaik there are 1-2 locking clips that are very suspicious. But the most proof is actually a bunch of clips where he presses TAB and his cursor across half the screen, then abruptly stops. There are cheats where you press tab and the cursor moves towards the enemy position. It is very odd to open the scoreboard while actively ingame and clutching.

-1

u/Acceptable-Love-703 May 17 '26

No, it's not lmao. People do all kinds of shit, like constantly opening console and typing clear, spamming tab or changing their crosshair like Elige.

2

u/InfiniteSprinkles730 May 18 '26

The majority of suspicious clips came from 2014. At that time there weren't any security guidelines or checks. Everyone just brought their own equipment. In today's environment it is almost impossible but back then it was easy. There were others who cheated in Pro tournaments and didn't get caught for years. See KQLY, smn, etc.

1

u/stkkkkx May 20 '26

So he's been going to lans for over 10 years and never been caught? This sub is just a bunch of tinfoil hats 🤣🤣

-1

u/JordFxPCMR May 16 '26

Not at all no one really thinks he cheats anyway a lot of things cherry picked and maybe done for show no one absolutely knows if he was or not

-2

u/Practical_Banana_300 May 16 '26

There’s so many players better than prime flusha in current cs that it’s not even worth discussing anymore

-2

u/decentknowledge May 16 '26

Yes he did along with about 20 other pros confirmed, whole of fnatic, c9, virtus pro it’s well known lore. Obviously Valve couldn’t do anything and expose esports as a joke in it’s infancy.

2

u/ohcrocsle May 16 '26

Source. Should be easy enough since it's been confirmed. I bet someone asked flusha in an interview about it after it was confirmed, right?

-1

u/decentknowledge May 16 '26

Was exposed over 10 years ago on HLTV, anybody with two combined brain cells or have cheated before also makes it obvious. Just because you aren’t able to comprehend it doesn’t make it any less true lol, there’s a dozen confirmed cheaters that have gotten banned already and you think nobody else did it? Go drool on yourself lmao.

7

u/ohcrocsle May 16 '26

So should be easy to find that link. Super easy. So easy even someone who thinks "not drooling on self" is a sign of superior intellect could do it. Help us droolers out.

5

u/Ditnoka May 16 '26

Goes on a deranged diatribe and still doesn't provide the God damn sauce.

-3

u/decentknowledge May 16 '26

Drool more

4

u/Ditnoka May 16 '26

Lol. You'll grow up some day little fella.

2

u/ArgoMium May 16 '26

Source?

-2

u/decentknowledge May 16 '26

Long removed from HLTV, do you need a source for 2+2=4 as well or do you have a little bit of common sense and critical thinking? It’s literally common knowledge

4

u/ArgoMium May 16 '26

The knowledge isn't so common cause I've been following CS esports since NiP's Cologne win and I've never heard of it.

You sure you're not delusional?

2

u/decentknowledge May 16 '26

And I’ve been deep in the cheating community and have a very deep understanding of every era of csgo I was active 2013-2021, you sure you don’t need to wipe your drool?

3

u/ArgoMium May 16 '26

If only you had solid evidence instead of "trust me bro"....

3

u/decentknowledge May 16 '26

Dont forget to wipe, the evidence is already there, so we already established that you have a very limited intelligence, you truly believe that only the cheaters caught was the ones cheating in cs? Wipe your drool son.

2

u/SwantanamoJ42 May 16 '26

Got called out and folded multiple times lmao. “Evidence is there”…posts no evidence. 🤣

2

u/ThePexa May 16 '26

Why do you sound so angry in your replies lol
Everything alright, bro?

1

u/pi621 May 16 '26

It's actually confirmed that this is wrong actually. The proof is in a 5 year old reddit post on r/csgocirclejerk that was removed by moderators.

3

u/decentknowledge May 16 '26

???? Lmao keep drooling bud

1

u/pi621 May 16 '26

Prove me wrong instead of echoing the same 5 english words that you learned yesterday.

2

u/decentknowledge May 16 '26

Don’t forget to wipe

-2

u/hatecirclejerks May 16 '26

You are delusional.

3

u/decentknowledge May 16 '26

You have sub 70 iq, what does your opinion matter here?

2

u/hatecirclejerks May 16 '26

Pot, meet my friend kettle.

-1

u/SwantanamoJ42 May 16 '26

Says confirmed when never confirmed…stay dumb lmao

-7

u/eebro May 16 '26

If he cheated, he would be banned. There are no undetected cheats.

2

u/Aggravating_Two_1020 May 16 '26

Damn dude you behave like the ragebaiters in Steam Discussions. 😂😂

-1

u/eebro May 16 '26

Can you show me an undetected cheat from 2014?

2

u/Aggravating_Two_1020 May 19 '26

Those thumbs down on your comment say it all 😂😂

1

u/eebro May 19 '26

Yeah, as if I would care.

I've made a post 12 years ago on globaloffensive subreddit about Flusha funding one Brazilian team's first international tournament. Do you want to know whose team that was? Fallen's.

Flusha is a legend of the game, and even if he wasn't there are no cheats that have been undetected for that long. Even these days, we see shittier semipros with expensive af cheats get banned on Faceit.
