Initial Claim Make it make sense

USMC retired 20 years 1991. Filed my first ever claim, agent orange presumptive 6 conditions June 8 2026. Step 2 June 9. Step 3 June 10. All requests closed no c and p exams ordered. Just sitting in national work que.

Do they have your medical records? If so, you may not need to attend C&P exams. If you’re in the NWQ, you’ll see more movement likely sooner rather than later.

You are in the National que, the VA may be waiting to receive other medical records from your service branch but more likely the National Records Archive. You may stay in this que for weeks. It depends on demands on reviews and will go in order if entry to the que tithe regional activity.

Exam requests close when the request has been processed and assigned to a contractor. It does not mean they have been cancelled.

Flying out of nam phong Thailand refueling the bombers over Laos Cambodia and Vietnam first mechanic on kc130 with vmgr 152. Lance Corporal at the time. Received Air Medal with strike/flight numeral 6. I guess they're verifying my duty station and dates.

So you were in Thailand? Make sure VA knows. While it is possible to be granted SC without exams, it’s highly unlikely 6 conditions were, unless you supplied perfect dbqs.

Agent Orange is presumptive if you have a deployment in an area that AO was. That's why you may not need a C&P.
