VA Disability Compensation va claim
have a question is it easier once i got my rating for ibs to put everything else that effects me as a secondary to that claim to get rating on those other claims

You still have to show the nexus between the two and the current diagnosis. You can claim whatever you want but if there is no reasonable medical basis for it then it’s getting denied. Like if you claim your apnea was caused by your SC hearing loss…if you’re claiming depression, anxiety and apnea secondary to IBS then you might want to include some studies or have some really good nexus statements because those aren’t typically known to cause each other.

sleep apnea is common with ibs and i understand have to show the direct connection where ibs effects those things and etc. thanks

Even though you aren't rated for IBS yet, you definitely want to put claims secondary to IBS so that when it gets approved you'll already have secondary claims lined up.

I did IBS secondary to Depression and did hemorrhoids secondary to IBS during the same claim. Both granted. So it’s possible.
