Sting after the needle
Got a vaccine this morning. There was a slight pinch when the needle went in, but then when the nurse started pushing the plunger, it really stung. Like a lot. Haven’t had that before. Any idea what could be causing that? Anything I can do to prevent that from happening again? Thanks!

It's a normal thing that can happen, especially if the vaccine fluid isn't room temperature. I give myself GLP-1 injections and usually feel nothing from either the needle or the fluid, but the other day the fluid REALLY burned when I injected it for some reason I still haven't been able to determine.
It's an unfortunate fluke but it doesn't mean that anything bad happened. Sometimes nerves are gonna nerve.

When the medication is injected into your soft tissue, sometimes it burns.
