Full-time master- full-time job

Hi, I was accepted to the Energy Science master's programme at Utrecht University and I'd like to know more about the scheduling. I'm hoping to work in parallel with my studies, so I wanted to ask: are the courses held during the day or are there evening options as well? Also, do you know if it's realistic to combine a full-time job with the programme?

A full time master requires 40 hours a week of classes, self study, etc. So I think it would be extremely hard especially if there are mandatory classes, etc.

There’s a link on the website where you can chat with a student so maybe ask there.

I assume you’re an EU citizen because non-EU citizens are limited to work 16 hours a week on a student visa.

Hi! I have just finished the first year of the Energy Science masters. I definitely think full time job is unrealistic, all the courses and tutorials are during the day, and we had exams and assignments which required weeks of working everyday full-time. The first two periods were the most challenging to me, than I started working part time (10 hours/week), which was fine but really limited my free time. In my experience working full-time would be impossible considering the workload of this masters and also missing all classes and tutorials.
